A Fashion Show with a Cultural Twist

A fashion show became more than just a performance during our school’s Bulan Bahasa celebration. Each class was assigned a different regional theme, and my class represented East Java. I had the opportunity to take part in the fashion show by wearing traditional East Javanese attire, complemented by accessories that we designed and created together with our classmates. From preparing the outfits to creating the details by hand, the process was filled with creativity, teamwork, and plenty of fun moments. It was a simple experience, but one that gave me a new appreciation for Indonesian culture and showed me how creativity can bring people together.
