From Waste to Runway

What if something we usually throw away could become part of a fashion statement? As part of our school’s P5 project, my class explored that idea through a regional themed fashion show. Our assigned region was Bali, and together we created five Bali inspired outfits using recycled and repurposed materials. I was involved not only in creating the outfits with my classmates, but also in presenting one of them as a fashion show model. From turning unused materials into wearable pieces to bringing them to the stage, this project showed me how creativity, teamwork, and sustainability can come together in one meaningful experience.
