The main ingredients used include: 1. ​Fresh Duck Eggs: Selected from the best quality and meticulously sorted to ensure the shells are free from cracks and capable of absorbing the spices and herbs perfectly. 2. Coarse Salt: Acts as the primary osmotic agent, providing a savory salty taste while naturally preserving the eggs. 3. Clean Water and Bottled Vinegar: Vinegar is added to the soaking medium to help soften and open the pores of the eggshells, thereby accelerating the penetration of salt ions and herbal extracts into the egg to the maximum extent.
